Bowyer: The search goes on
Gary Bowyer hopes there are still 'a couple more' deals to be done by Blackburn Rovers during the summer transfer window.
Former Doncaster Rovers striker Chris Brown has already agreed to join the ranks at Ewood Park on a two-year contract, while Luke Varney is set to sign after reaching the end of his agreement at Leeds United.
Moving early is what all managers are trying to do and Bowyer is delighted with his business so far.
He is, however, aware of the need to keep pushing for more.
Blackburn are determined to position themselves in the promotion-chasing pack in 2014/15, but acknowledge that in order to join that group they will need to strengthen all over the field.
Bowyer told the Lancashire Telegraph on expected movement over the coming weeks: \"We're tirelessly working away to get a couple more in.
\"It's constant, absolutely constant.
\"We're speaking to different agents about players, both in and out.
\"We're working very hard to get things over the line as we feel we could still strengthen in one or two areas.\"
