Breeders' on Caspar agenda

Alan McCabe's still eyeing a trip to the Breeders' Cup with Caspar Netscher despite the colt finishing last of four at Longchamp on Sunday.

The son of Dutch Art won the German 2,000 Guineas earlier in the year and had not been beaten far in two French Group Ones subsequently.

However, he was was beaten over eight lengths by Moonlight Cloud in the Prix du Moulin, although McCabe felt the race had not been run to suit his charge.

The trainer tweeted: "Caspar fine after his race yest. Went all wrong for him tactically but there will be other days. Breeders' Cup still on radar."
