Breeze for Vale, Pirates draw

League Two leaders Port Vale eased to a 3-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday, while Bristol Rovers drew 1-1 at Cheltenham.

At Vale Park, promotion-chasing Vale comfortably beat the division's bottom side AFC Wimbledon.

Lee Hughes headed the league leaders ahead after 13 minutes, before a brace from Ashley Vincent sealed the win.

In Tuesday night's other match, Oliver Norburn struck in injury time for in-form relegation-battlers Bristol Rovers to rescue a point from their trip to high-flying Cheltenham, who had led through Shaun Harrad's effort on the stroke of half-time.
