Bristol City trying to beat bug
Derek McInnes hopes preventive measures can help Bristol City shake off a bug that is sweeping the club before Saturday's game at Huddersfield.
Two City players were sick during the half-time interval on Saturday, with two more suffering after the game and, with a number of staff also under the weather, the Scot hopes he's seen the last of this bug.
Boss McInnes told Bristol City's official website: "It's clear there's something going around at the moment and it's been affecting a few players, and some of the staff.
"We had Steven Davies and Stephen McManus being sick at half-time on Saturday, and then a couple more after the game. The players deserve full credit for getting through the game in those circumstances.
"We've taken advice from the medical staff, shutting down the place on Sunday and today (Monday) to try and clear out the bug. By the time the Huddersfield game comes around on Saturday, hopefully this will be behind us."
