Britons sets the pace
Shane Byrne and Alex Lowes set the pace for Sunday's three British Superbike Championship races at Oulton Park as they dominated practice.
Byrne and Lowes are currently first and second in the championship with defending champion Byrne leading his rival by 21 points at the top of the standings.
Samsung Honda's Ryuichi Kiyonari had been fastest going into the final 10 minutes of session one as many riders went out late due to showers before the start.
But he was overtaken by team-mate Lowes only for Byrne to post a lap of one minute 37.200 seconds to go seven-hundredths of a second faster in the final minute of the session on his Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki.
Lowes was fastest in the early stages of second practice before it was briefly red-flagged after Keith Farmer took a spill.
When the session resumed, Lowes and Byrne continued trading places at the top of the timesheets before Lowes went round in 1min 36.140secs to post the fastest time of the day with Byrne 0.027 behind.
James Ellison (Milwaukee Yamaha) was third fastest in session two with Josh Brookes (Tyco Suzuki), who sits just a point behind Lowes in the standings, fourth.
