Brits squeezed out of relay medals
A year after failing to earn a place at the Olympics, GB's women finished fourth in the 4x100 metres relay at the World Championships.
The young quartet of Dina Asher Smith, Ashleigh Nelson, Annabelle Lewis and Hayley Jones were edged out of the medals by 0.12 seconds by the United States.
Jones took the baton for the final leg in second place, but was run down as she brought the team home in 42.87secs, slower than their semi-final time.
Jamaica took the gold in a championship record of 41.29s.
