Britton: Exciting times ahead

Midfielder Leon Britton admits Swansea are relishing the next four games, saying: "These are exciting times."

The Swans face Everton in the FA Cup and Liverpool in the Premier League before resuming their Europa League exploits against Rafael Benitez's Napoli over two legs.

The 31-year-old praised the performance against Stoke City on Wednesday, when they came back from 1-0 down to gain a point in a difficult away trip.

Speaking to the South Wales Evening Post, Britton said: "We have some very, very tough games now with Everton, Napoli and Liverpool, but at this level every game is tough.

"It's Everton first and it's something to look forward to. The FA Cup is a different challenge and we are going to a ground where the club has never won before.

"It's nice to have a break from the Premier League - we have done well in cup competitions recently - and then we play Napoli, so these are exciting times."

Speaking about the draw against Mark Hughes' side he said: "Stoke was about digging in at a tough place in tough conditions and showing we're a strong team. We did that and got the point, and perhaps on another day we would have come away with a win.

"We showed fight. If you go to Stoke and you're not up for it and organised, you won't get anything.

"But this time we matched them physically and still played our football - we did well."
