Bruce keen on Hull stay
Steve Bruce has thanked Hull City's fans and owners and admitted he would love to sign a new deal to carry on as manager.
Bruce took charge at the KC Stadium in June 2012 and guided the Tigers to promotion from the Championship last season.
Hull have made good progress in their first campaign back in the Premier League and have also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Bruce is happy at the club and would love to continue his work for a long time, but he accepts that it will be Hull who decide on his future.
"I would love to carry on here - but it is up to other people if they want to extend my contract," Bruce, who is on a 12-month rolling contract, said in The Sun.
"I have been in management for 15 years and the one thing I have never done is ask for a fresh agreement.
"It's entirely up to the people who employ me to decide that.
"All I know is the Hull fans have been incredible to me and the owners have given me the freedom to manage without any interference."
