Bruce wants home comforts

Hull manager Steve Bruce has challenged his side to keep their impressive home form going when they host Peterborough.

The Tigers are preparing for a double header at home with Blackpool also visiting in midweek as they put their 100 per cent record on the line.

"We've got back-to-back home games coming up, starting with Peterborough who haven't had a good start, so that is going to be a dangerous one," he told the club's official website.

"Can we keep the 100 per cent home record going? If we can, we'll go towards the next international break with a decent tally of points and we can be quite pleased with the first quarter of the season.

"I'm always worried about playing a team that hasn't picked up any points, though, because the law of averages comes into it.

"I know Darren Ferguson will be disappointed with their start but he's made of stern stuff and his team will always respond."
