Bury make O'Brien signing

Bury have announced the signing of Chorley centre-back Keil O'Brien on a two-year deal.

The 20-year-old caught the eye of Shakers boss David Flitcroft on his way to winning young player of the year for Chorley as they clinched promotion to the Conference North last season.

O'Brien began his career with Manchester United and has also had spells at Northwich Victoria, Mossley and Radcliffe Borough.

Meanwhile, first-team fitness coach Dave Tivey has left the club to pursue other opportunities.
