Bust makes French connection
Boom And Bust has earned a trip to France on Arc weekend after another decent showing at Goodwood.
Unfortunate not to have lifted a Group race this season, Marcus Tregoning's gelding was third in the Lennox Stakes at the Glorious meeting and second to Afsare at Salisbury before he was chased down by Lockwood in the Supreme Stakes.
"He deserves to win one of those and it was another good effort," said Tregoning.
"Unfortunately there isn't anything left at Goodwood now but we'll look at the Group Two Prix Daniel Wildenstein at Longchamp in October."
Another stable veteran, Askar Tau, has shown little in four outings this term but Tregoning said: "He's still enthusiastic and the idea is that he'll stay in training."
