Butcher: Draw was fair result

Inverness manager Terry Butcher felt a draw was a fair result in the Highland derby but fet his side were denied a clear second-half penalty.

Graeme Shinnie was booked when he was deemed to have dived in the box under pressure from Evangelos Oikonomou.

"Graeme is adamant it was a penalty," Butcher said. "That now gets him suspended. But in the end it was a typical 0-0. I thought both teams were fully committed and showed a great attitude.

"It's two great points for the Highlands - a point for us, a point for them.

"It keeps up moving up. We've got four games to go (before the split) and we are five points ahead of some of the other teams, that's a lot of points.

"The result was pretty fair too, neither team deserved to lose. Had Ross County scored at the start of the second half I wouldn't have grumbled.

"They were on top for the first 20, 25 minutes, but we changed it around and finished strongly."
