Butler hoping for more goals

Andy Butler is hoping he can contribute a few goals this season after breaking his duck for Sheffield United against Northampton.

The 30-year-old has always offered some assistance in this department at previous clubs; netting 14 times in 159 league games for Walsall, four goals in 53 matches for Huddersfield and 15 in 134 for Scunthorpe.

Butler glanced in a Ben Davies free-kick at Sixfields to put the Blades in front and is keeping his fingers crossed that is a sign of things to come with his new team.

"I got a little touch on it," he told BladesPlayer.tv. "The announcer gave it to Ben but I'm pleased to get off the mark and hopefully that's the first of many. It would be really nice if that starts a goal-rush for me and the club."
