Campbell enjoying Town challenge

DJ Campbell is relishing the pressure of scoring the goals to help Ipswich Town climb the table this season.

The QPR striker is currently enjoying a three-month loan spell at Portman Road, making an immediate impact with a debut goal against Cardiff.

The former Blackpool front man has also revealed he is happy to play as a lone striker for Town boss Paul Jewell.

Campbell told the East Anglian Daily Times: "I know I have been brought in to score goals - that's my job. I expect to score most of the chances that I get. That's normal pressure to me and I love pressure like that.

"I love playing football and I know I will do that here and hopefully score the goals that will push us up the league.

"I was the lone striker there (at Blackpool). I haven't got a problem with that at all, whether I'm alone or with a partner up front."
