Canada end GB winning streak

Great Britain's men's curling team saw their winning streak in the Sochi 2014 round-robin stage come to an end as they lost 7-5 to Canada.

The game was a cat-and-mouse affair in the first five ends, with David Murdoch's GB rink - who had won five of their six matches to date and their last four in a row - stealing a point in the third to go 2-1 up and then, after the Canadians had responded with three in the fourth, posting two in the fifth to level at 4-4.

Following a blanked sixth, reigning Olympic champions Canada used the hammer to register one in the seventh, and the two teams then traded individual points before Brad Jacobs' men stole another in the 10th to secure the victory.
