Canaries 'eye African ace'

Norwich City have made an offer for Sporting Kansas City striker Kei Kamara, according to reports.

Kamara is one of three players to score nine or more goals in each of the last three seasons and is believed to be in the last year of his contract with the Major League Soccer outfit.

Now the Canaries have firmed up their interest in Kamara and have lodged a bid with MLS - as it is the league who own the rights for the players.

Kamara, named Sierra Leone Player of the Year, was recently on trial with Stoke City in December.
