Captain in charge at Kempton
Captain Chris registered his fourth victory at Kempton with a resounding success in the williamhill.com Chase.
The 10-year-old, who was also second in last season's King George VI Chase at the Sunbury track, pulled well clear of the opposition to score by by 23 lengths.
Runner-up Champion Court made the running until Richard Johnson took over on the Philip Hobbs-trained 10-year-old four fences from home, after which the result was not in doubt, with the 15-8 favourite sauntering home.
Johnson said: "In a way it was a shame he couldn't run in the King George, but it was probably also a blessing as it was close enough to Huntingdon and it would have been a real slog in the King George.
"He loves it round here and and hopefully there will be one or two more nice races in him on better ground."
