Cardiff v Newcastle preview
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has reported a clean bill of health for the trip to Cardiff.
Yohan Cabaye was used only as a second-half substitute in the 3-2 defeat at Everton amid concerns over his match-fitness, but Pardew expects him to be ready to start at the Cardiff City Stadium if required.
Striker Shola Ameobi has recovered from his bout of flu and he, defender Steven Taylor and midfielder Jonas Gutierrez (both hamstring) could return to contention.
Jordon Mutch will be hoping that his spectacular winning goal as a substitute against Fulham will see him rewarded with a place in the Cardiff starting XI.
Summer signing Andreas Cornelius is still working his way back to full fitness following a foot injury but Mackay otherwise has a full squad to choose from.
Peter Odemwingie and Fraizer Campbell may again be partnered up front for the Bluebirds.
