Cardiff v Wigan preview

Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to make wholesale changes for the FA Cup clash with Wigan Athletic.

Kenwyne Jones and Fabio are cup-tied, whilst the club are waiting on permission from Manchester United to play Wilfried Zaha.

Craig Bellamy is also missing as he is suspended and Jordon Mutch is injured. Steven Caulker and Gary Medel are likely to be rested.

Spanish defender Juan Cala is set make his debut, whilst Norwegian trio of Magnus Wolff Eikrem, Mats Moller Daehli and Jo Inge Berget could all start.

Wigan will have to make changes to their side after their midweek win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Nicky Maynard, who claimed a brace at Hillsborough, cannot play as he is cup-tied.

Ivan Ramis, who saw a deadline day move to Cardiff fall through, could make his first appearance since January 1st.

Shaun Maloney remains sidelined with his long-term hip problem.
