Corey Kluber claimed a career-high 11 strikeouts in his first complete game as the Cleveland Indians claimed a 5-1 win over Kansas City Royals.
Cleveland struck five runs in the fifth innings to set themselves up for victory, with Kluber becoming the first Indians pitcher to have at least 11 strikeouts with no earned runs or walks in a complete game since Len Barker did so on May 15, 1981.
