Charlton see off Portsmouth

Danny Hollands was on target against former club Charlton but could not prevent Portsmouth slipping to a 2-1 friendly defeat.

Midfielder Hollands, who this summer joined Pompey permanently from the Addicks, stooped to head in a cross from Jed Wallace to cancel out Igor Vetokele's opener for the visitors.

But the Championship side retook the lead before half-time when George Tucudean fired past Michael Poke.

Substitute Pompey keeper Paul Jones ensured they avoided a heavier defeat when he saved Johnnie Jackson's second-half penalty.
