Chelsea get back to Premier League business when they host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Chelsea welcome back Gary Cahill after he served his ban in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.
With John Terry still out with a knee injury, Cahill could go straight back into the side against his former club.
But John Obi Mikel is still unavailable through suspension and Liverpool target Daniel Sturridge also misses out due to a hamstring problem.
Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland is available again for the trip to face the current European champions.
The Republic of Ireland international missed the 3-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend through illness.
But skipper Ron Vlaar and striker Gabriel Agbonlahor remain major doubts with calf and thigh problems respectively, while Darren Bent is a guaranteed absentee.
