Trainer Emma Lavelle is eyeing the Byrne Group Plate at the Cheltenham Festival with Doncaster winner Easter Meteor.
Having chased home Nadiya De La Vega at Cheltenham in October he defied a 4lb higher mark in fine style on Town Moor.
A return to Prestbury Park in March is now on the cards, with good ground essential to his chances.
Lavelle said: "The ground was not ideal for him, it was much slower than he would have preferred and we just got away with it.
"I really wanted to get his head in front before we went looking at some of the better races again.
"What I really love about him is his jumping.
"The Byrne Group Plate would look a logical target at this stage for him."
