Chevrolet shine in Marrakech

Chevrolet ruled the roost at the World Touring Car Championship meeting in Marrakech on Sunday, filling the podium in both races.

In the first meeting, Swiss driver Alain Menu scorched to his second successive victory, with team-mates Rob Huff and Yvan Muller following him past the chequered flag.

The order was then reversed, with Muller leading the way in the second race and Menu taking third place, with Huff again stationed in between.

"Everything worked just like I hoped it would," Menu said afterwards.

"What I had to do was make a good start and avoid making any mistakes."

Muller added: "Again we had the best car on the track. I am very pleased with this victory."

Unsurprisingly, the trio lead the way in the drivers' championship, with Muller top, leading Menu by 24 points and Huff by 33.

Tom Coronel is fourth with Stefano D'Aste fifth.
