Choi and Korda share lead
Na Yeon Choi and Jessica Korda carded nine-under-par rounds of 64 to share the lead after the first round of the Reignwood LPGA Classic.
Choi carded nine birdies and no bogeys in a flawless round at Pine Valley Golf Club in Beijing, finishing in style by picking up shots at each of her last four holes.
Korda was not to be outdone however, also keeping a bogey off her card to join Choi at the top of the leaderboard, four shots ahead of Ricoh British Women's Open champion Stacy Lewis and Korean duo Hee Young Park and Hee Kyung Seo.
Lewis and Park also produced flawless rounds but Seo had a rather more roller-coaster day, posting three bogeys, two birdies and an eagle in her first 10 holes, before completing her 68 with four straight birdies.
Solheim Cup stars Jodi Ewart Shadoff and Anna Nordqvist were among an eight-strong group a shot further back on four under that also featured Korean Inbee Park, who won the first three majors of the year.
Park recovered from two over par after four holes to shoot six birdies and complete an opening 69.
