Clarke: We've left it too late
West Brom manager Steve Clarke has admitted that it may be too late for him to spend any money on new players.
The Baggies have yet to splash any cash this summer, bringing in Nicolas Anelka and Diego Lugano on free transfers, with Scott Sinclair, Matej Vydra and Goran Popov arriving on loan.
But Clarke wants more deals to be done before the transfer window slams shut on Monday night, making strikers his number one priority.
The Scotsman told the Daily Mirror: "I am concerned that we have left it too late and maybe we don't get the right players in.
"The squad is good but they do need help."
