Clev and Corbin make weight

Nathan Cleverly successfully weighed in for his cruiserweight debut against Shawn Corbin this Saturday.

Cleverly admitted he struggled to make the light heavyweight limit in recent years, but looked in peak condition as he tipped the scales at 14st 2lb 5oz ahead of his return in Cardiff.

The Welshman is having his first fight since losing his WBO belt against Sergey Kovalev last August and will be keen to impress against Corbin, who weighed in at 13st 13lb 7oz.

There is also plenty at stake for featherweight Lee Selby, who is facing Romulo Koasicha in a world title eliminator.

Selby was inside the limit at 8st 13lb 6oz, while his Mexican opponent recorded a weight of 8st 13lb 4oz.

On the same bill, Gavin Rees will have his final professional fight against Gary Buckland, a repeat of their thrilling battle in February.

Buckland, who claimed a split decision win in the first encounter, weighed in at 9st 11lbs, with Rees matching him on the scales.
