Derby boss Nigel Clough does not expect Adam Legzdins' error in the 3-0 defeat to Peterborough to affect the goalkeeper's confidence.
Legzdins, has been in great form since stepping in for the injured Frank Fielding four games ago, but was at fault for the second Posh goal at London Road on Saturday, allowing a tame shot from Saido Berahino to slip through his hands and into the back of the net.
However, Clough believes the 25-year-old will bounce back from the mistake and insists he will have no hesitation in naming Legzdins in the team to face Blackpool at Pride Park at the weekend.
"It was just one of those things," said Clough.
"I'm glad it was not a game-changing mistake. The game wasn't 0-0 or anything like that, so we didn't lose through that error.
"It should not affect his confidence. He is a strong enough character to put it behind him and bounce back."
Clough added: "Adam will play against Blackpool. He has been superb in the last few games. He saved a penalty at Peterborough and kept us in it when we found ourselves under pressure."
