Cole Harden could go to Exeter

Warren Greatrex is weighing up a couple of imminent options for his promising novice hurdler Cole Harden.

A winner of four of his five starts so far, he most recently took a decent-looking event at Newbury by eight lengths.

"Cole Harden's great," said the Lambourn trainer.

"He might run at Exeter next Sunday in the Listed race Melodic Rendezvous won last year, or go to Ascot the following week.

"He's in the Neptune and the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham and he'll probably be entered in a couple of the handicaps. Hopefully we'll find out if he's good enough to go there."
