Coleman loving Mirallas link-up

Seamus Coleman is delighted to be linking up with Kevin Mirallas again down Everton's right side now both players have returned from injury.

The pair were influential in the Toffees' 3-1 Premier League home win against Reading on Saturday, with Coleman providing the cross from which Marouane Fellaini opened the scoring and Mirallas netting the hosts' third goal.

Full-back Coleman has featured in the last three games having recovered from a thigh problem, while forward Mirallas returned to action in January after a hamstring injury.

And the former, quoted by the Liverpool Echo, said: "Kevin's got loads of ability, but a bit like myself he's been in and out with injuries this season.

"He's been in the team while I've been out and we've not always been able to work together but he's a top player.

"You can give him the ball and he'll make things happen. Naisy (Steven Naismith) as well is someone who you know will fill in for you when you overlap.

"We've got some good players and need to kick on from here."

Everton are sixth in the table with 10 league games to go, and face Wigan in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday.
