Cooper rules out Luongo move

Swindon manager Mark Cooper insists that Massimo Luongo will not be leaving the club for Rotherham.

The Robins turned down a 600,000 bid from the Millers for the 21-year-old Australian international who has just returned from the World Cup.

And Cooper believes the former Spurs man, who arrived at the County Ground last summer for 400,000, is worth more than Rotherham's offer.

"He's not going," Cooper told the BBC. "And I don't know if we would sell him. I don't think there's any pressure.

"With all due respect to Rotherham, I don't think Mass would go there. It was a fantastic offer but I think he's worth more than that."

Cooper also confirmed that former Oldham midfielder Anton Rodgers, son of Liverpool boss Brendan, is on trial with the Robins.
