Cooper to stay with Pompey

Crawley defender Shaun Cooper has extended his loan spell at Portsmouth by another month.

The 29-year-old full-back has made seven appearances since rejoining Pompey, the club where he began his career, towards the end of January.

Cooper is currently sidelined by a hip injury but caretaker boss Guy Whittingham expects him back in action soon.

He said: "Shaun has returned to light training. Tuesday's game will come too quick for him, but we're hoping he might be available at the weekend."
