Trainer Clive Cox is in no hurry to firm up plans next year for his brilliant juvenile Reckless Abandon.
The Lambourn trainer wants to see how the colt, unbeaten in five starts, comes through the winter before mapping out a programme.
Reckless Abandon ended a perfect season with a second Group One win in the Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket to give Cox his first domestic triumph at the top level.
"He's come out of the race very well. I'm really thrilled with his season completely," said Cox.
"He's finished off better than he started and we're all delighted with him. It's a bit early to say what we will do next year. We'll see how he comes through the winter. It's very much a step at a time."
Reckless Abandon has yet to race beyond six furlongs and is a general 20-1 shot for the Qipco 2000 Guineas at Newmarket in May.
He also holds an entry in the Irish equivalent at the Curragh later that month.
