Cross heads Bartlett possibles

At Fishers Cross, a winner on Festival Trials Day, is among 107 entries for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle back at Cheltenham on March 15.

Trainer Rebecca Curtis named the three-mile contest as the most likely target for the JP McManus-owned gelding after he defeated The New One by a neck on Saturday.

The six-year-old has also been given an entry in the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle.

Mark Bradstock's Coneygree, third to At Fishers Cross at the weekend, is in the list.

David Pipe's nine entries include Gevrey Chambertin. The full-brother to Grands Crus has won all his three starts over hurdles.

Ireland's challenge is once again led by a formidable team from the Willie Mullins stable, including Pont Alexandre, dual hurdle winner Ballycasey and last season's Weatherbys Champion Bumper hero Champagne Fever.
