Crossley to join Castleford

Castleford have made another addition to their squad for next season after signing Featherstone prop Steve Crossley on a two-year deal.

Crossley, who has also played for Bradford and Dewsbury, joins Matt Cook, Denny Solomona, Junior Moors and Ben Roberts in joining the Tigers for the start of 2015 campaign.

The 23-year-old is looking forward to competing in Super League again having last played in the top-flight for the Bulls three years ago.

"I'm really looking forward to joining Cas Tigers next year, the chance to go full time again and play in Super League was always a goal I've had since leaving Bradford.

"I'm really happy to be a Tiger for the next two years and hope to build on the team's successes of this year."

Tigers coach Daryl Powell worked briefly with Crossley when they were both at Featherstone and the is delighted with his latest acquisition.

Powell said: "He is big and robust with a skilful attacking game which will fit neatly into how we play. He is a solid defender and as a bloke is perfect for our environment."
