Cullen on target in GB win

Crista Cullen scored twice as Great Britain's women made it back-to-back wins at the International Tournament at Olympic Park against China.

The Leicester defender flicked home a sixth-minute penalty corner and then followed in a rebound off another of her set-pieces in overtime, via the crossbar, at the end of the game to wrap up victory.

GB made hard work of it though and only the second goal two minutes from time, after good work from Helen Richardson and Sarah Thomas down the right, from the University of Birmingham's Susie Gilbert made the result safe.

Goalkeeper Beth Storry was barely troubled by the Beijing silver medallists, saving one corner from Mengyu Wang late in the first half and denying Qingling Song after she mis-hit a close-range reverse-stick shot just past the hour.

"My poor little heart can't take having all that possession and dominance and only being 1-0 up," said coach Danny Kerry of his side's late goals.

GB's women now top the group with one match to go after Argentina - their next opponents on Saturday - were held to a goalless draw by Korea.
