Dartnall looks to Exeter run

Victor Dartnall could have his first runners at Exeter on Thursday after being forced to close his stables for four weeks.

It will be business as usual for the trainer after he had to shut up shop due to an outbreak of equine herpes at his Barnstaple stables.

Dartnall has wasted no further time in putting in entries for his horses after getting the all-clear to do so by the British Horseracing Authority.

Although Richard's Sundance has an engagement at Ffos Las on Monday and Regal Presence is in at Newbury on Wednesday, Dartnall is set to resume at Exeter.

He has jumps newcomer Silver Commander entered for the Download The Free Racing UK App Maiden Hurdle and course winner Shammick Boy in the Carterdawes Financial Planners 10th Anniversary Handicap Hurdle.

"I don't think Richard's Sundance will be running at Ffos Las on Monday," said Dartnall.

"I think we'll be starting up on Thursday at Exeter. I'm not exactly sure yet, but it could be Silver Commander and possibly Shammick Boy.

"We've got one in at Newbury on Wednesday, Regal Presence, but I'm not sure if that one runs."
