Dasaolu could make Nigeria switch
British sprinter James Dasaolu has reportedly expressed interest in running for Nigeria after the 2016 Olympic Games.
According to Nigerian newspaper Punch, the current fastest man in Britain over 100 metres could switch nationality to the country of his parents' birth.
Dasaolu, 25, ran 9.91 seconds at the British Championships last month, becoming the second quickest Briton of all-time, with only Linford Christie having gone faster.
He then reached the 100m final at the World Championships in Moscow, finishing eighth.
According to Punch, Dasaolu said: "After the next Olympics I will maybe consider changing (and running for Nigeria).
"I've been on many family holidays to Nigeria, and I still have the memory of visiting Olumo Rock in Abeokuta. Yes, I would love to compete for Nigeria one day."
