Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones has contested the charge of improper conduct brought against him by the Football Association.
Jones was involved in a touchline bust-up with Brighton's first-team coach Charlie Oatway following last Saturday's match.
Oatway was hit with the same charge and the pair were given until 4pm on Thursday to respond.
The Owls boss said on the club's official Twitter account: "I will contest my FA charge and ask for a personal hearing."
