Defensive duo leave Shrews
Tamika Mkandawire and Dave Winfield have left Shrewsbury after their contracts were cancelled by mutual consent.
Mkandawire has departed after spending one season at Greenhous Meadow having joined last summer from Millwall.
The 31-year-old made 42 appearances for the Shrews, who were relegated from League One.
Defender Winfield, 26, made 18 appearances for Shrewsbury last season after joining in June 2013 on a free transfer from Wycombe.
The Shrews appointed Micky Mellon as their new manager last month and he will be assisted by Mike Jackson, who had been in caretaker charge since Graham Turner stepped down in January.
