Deila: Don't write off Celtic

Ronny Deila believes Celtic can keep their Champions League dream alive by overturning a three-goal deficit against Legia Warsaw on Wednesday.

Celtic trail 4-1 from the first leg of their qualifier in the Polish capital last week but manager Deila believes a 3-0 scoreline, or better, is not beyond his side at Murrayfield.

Last year the Scottish champions rallied from a 2-0 first-leg deficit to beat Shakhter Karagandy 3-0 at home and secure their place in the lucrative group stages of the competition.

Speaking on Sky Sports' SPFL Preview Show, Deila said: "Celtic have been in the Champions League for many years now and it's an important aspect for the club, myself and the players.

"I can assure you the players really want this and we will do everything we can on Wednesday. The boys are really looking forward to it but we have to work on our performance.

"I think there are things that we can do better that we did in Poland and with the crowd we have at Murrayfield it is going to be very good."
