Brighton striker Stephen Dobbie admits he is seeing a lot of similarities at the club to his previous employers.
Dobbie has previously experienced promotion from the Championship with Swansea and Blackpool and is eyeing a third success.
"The way the manager sets out training and his approach to matches is very similar to when I was at Swansea," he told the club's official website.
"If you look at our squad we have a lot of strength and depth and when I was at Blackpool we had a big squad but we didn't have that many prominent players.
"We had a lot of youngsters in the set-up but we managed to get promoted, and it was the same at Swansea but we have a big squad here with lots of quality in it.
"To improve on last season's finish would be an achievement but I believe we can really push on."
