Arsenal midfielder Denilson will return to the Premier League club at the end of the season when his loan spell ends at Sao Paulo.
The 24-year-old was sent back to his homeland by Arsene Wenger after finding his first-team chances increasingly limited at the Emirates.
Denilson, a former Under-17 international, has regained his confidence in Brazil and has hinted he could return to Sao Paulo in the future.
"I will remain at Sao Paulo until June 30th and then I will return [Arsenal]," said Denilson.
"I helped [Sao Paulo] this year with some good assists, established myself in the team and had some good games for them.
"I played regularly and I did not get sent off. I have been saying all along that I am still adapting to Brazilian football and the statistics show that was not an excuse.
"The amount of cards and fouls I have received have been significantly reduced."
He added: "I wish I could stay for six more months but that is Arsenal's decision as I am under contract with them.
"I will not be unhappy in London as I will be returning to one of the biggest clubs in the world."
