Denver win again to stretch run

The Denver Nuggets extended their franchise-record winning NBA streak to 14 games with a dramatic 101-100 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Corey Brewer led the Nuggets with a career-high 29 points off the bench, including three free throws with 2.1 seconds left, to secure Denver's 16th successive win at the Pepsi Center - despite the best efforts of Damien Wilkins, who poured in 24 points for the Sixers.

Elsewhere, the Portland Trail Blazers enjoyed dominant second and third quarters (32-16 and 28-16) against the Chicago Bulls en route to a 99-89 triumph at United Center.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 28 points and Damian Lillard 24 for the Blazers, the Bulls unable to make up the deficit despite a 36-19 final period.

The Sacramento Kings, meanwhile, collected their third straight win with a 101-98 success against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Isaiah Thomas contributed a game-high 24 points for the Kings at Sleep Train Arena, condemning the Timberwolves to a ninth consecutive road loss.
