Derby v QPR play-off preview

Derby head coach Steve McClaren will select from an unchanged squad for Saturday's Sky Bet Championship play-off final against QPR at Wembley.

Club captain Shaun Barker (knee) and midfielder Paul Coutts (knee) remain long-term absentees but everyone else is fit and available for Saturday's Wembley showdown.

McClaren, who left his coaching role at QPR in September to succeed Nigel Clough, faces a selection dilemma in midfield.

In the main, McClaren has used a 4-3-3 formation during his time in charge of the Rams so George Thorne, Jeff Hendrick, Craig Bryson and Will Hughes are likely to be battling it out for three central midfield spots.

Goalkeeper Lee Grant has been an ever-present this season and will start, as will 25-goal top scorer Chris Martin.

QPR, meanwhile, have Yun Suk Young, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Nico Krancjar available.

Yun was due to link up with the South Korea squad for a pre-World Cup training camp but has now been given permission to play at Wembley.

Fellow defender Assou-Ekotto is back with Rangers having recently returned to parent club Tottenham for treatment on a knee injury and midfielder Krancjar is also fit after a hamstring problem suffered against Wigan in the semi-final.

Ale Faurlin has resumed training after a lengthy spell out with cruciate damage but will not be involved at Wembley while Jermaine Jenas has begun his rehabilitation on a similar injury.
