Derry dejected after rout

Dejected boss Shaun Derry described Notts County's 6-0 defeat at Rotherham as "the lowest point of my whole career".

The Millers hit rock-bottom County with four goals in a 17-minute blast in the first half - James Tavernier, Haris Vuckic, Alex Revell and a Kieran Agard penalty doing the damage.

Vuckic grabbed his second of the afternoon on the hour mark before the home side added a sixth through Tom Hitchcock.

"For the first 10 minutes we were the better side," Derry said. "We had a new system and one decision has changed the whole complex of the game, then we press the self-destruct button five times.

"This is the lowest point of my whole career, I am absolutely at rock bottom in terms of how I am feeling right now and so are the players.

"The have got to go home and do some soul searching. We a can do it right every single day on the training pitch but it only matters on a Saturday afternoon.

"It doesn't matter what you do in the week when you produce performances like that."
