Frankie Dettori hopes to be back in the saddle by Friday having been ruled out of action with conjunctivitis.
The Italian has been replaced on two of his booked rides at Lingfield on Wednesday, Albayan and Royal Empire, by Godolphin counterpart Mickael Barzalona.
Dettori's agent Ray Cochrane said: "He's just got a little bit of conjunctivitis but it is getting better.
"He had it all last weekend to be fair, but it is clearing up a bit now.
"He hopes to be back by Friday but he looks a bit rough at the moment."
