Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio was all smiles after midfielder Simon Ferry ended his goal famine to seal a 1-0 win at Shrewsbury.
Former Celtic man Ferry had not found the net since last November but he timed his run into the box to perfection 12 minutes from time when he swept home from close range after Andy Williams headed down an Adam Rooney cross.
"In the last few weeks I have been tough with him," said Di Canio. "In the last few games he has played he had chances and we have told him to shoot.
"He was obliged to shoot because he was five yards from goal. The ball bounced in front of him and he got his body in the perfect position and it was an intelligent finish. I was very happy."
