Oldham boss Paul Dickov has warned his in-form side that Carlisle will be no pushovers ahead of their League One clash on Tuesday night.
The Latics have won three of their last four outings and face a Carlisle team who tasted defeat away to Colchester at the weekend.
But Dickov insists Greg Abbott's side are well equipped to bounce back from their recent difficulties.
"We have seen ourselves that when a team is on a bad run they just need one performance or even one bit of luck to turn it around," he told the News & Star.
"They will be hoping to do that. They are creating chances. Greg will be thinking the result is just around the corner and he will hope it is against us.
"We go up there with confidence but also respecting them. He has got a good team."
