Dimi extends Boro stay
Goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos has extended his stay at Middlesbrough until the end of the season.
The 35-year-old former Hartlepool and AEK Athens player signed an initial five-month deal in August last year which was due to expire this week.
However, he has now agreed an extension which will allow him to see out the rest of the campaign.
Konstantopoulos has made only one senior appearance to date - he played in the 2-0 FA Cup third round defeat by Barclays Premier League Hull on January 4 - and has been an unused substitute on 11 occasions.
But he has become a valuable member of the squad, providing the back-up to loan signing Shay Given for the last month or so with Jason Steele and Jayson Leutwiler both recovering from injury.
